Unleash Your Inner Chef! Marrakech Hotel’s Culinary Vacation

The Royal Mansour Marrakech is a remarkable destination offering a multitude of experiences, including its newly launched Royal Mansour Cooking School. Nestled within 12 acres of lush surroundings, the palatial resort invites guests to immerse themselves in a world of culinary delights and acquire new skills in the art of cooking. With four exceptional restaurants on-site, including La Table, Sesamo, La Grande Table Marocaine, and Le Jardin, the cooking school provides an opportunity for guests to not only savor exquisite cuisine but also learn how to create these delectable dishes themselves.

Led by the talented chefs of the hotel, the cooking classes are open to guests of all culinary levels. Participants gather around the expansive island in the hotel’s kitchen for two-hour demonstrations, where they can engage with the chefs and learn firsthand the techniques and secrets behind each dish. The classes are centered around three culinary themes: Moroccan Cooking Class, Italian Cooking Class, and Pastry Class.

The Moroccan Cooking Class offers a culinary exploration of traditional Moroccan recipes, such as the iconic chicken tagine with olives and lemons, M’rouzia lamb with saffron almonds, and spinach-cheese briouates. This class is available from Saturday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. For those interested in Italian gastronomy, the Italian Cooking Class delves into the art of crafting fresh pasta, potato gnocchi, and the beloved Amatriciana sauce. It takes place from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Aspiring pastry chefs can indulge in the Pastry Class, which introduces the intricacies of creating profiteroles, vanilla ice cream, chocolate tarts, cookies, and other sweet treats. The Pastry Class is offered from Monday to Friday, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Whichever class guests choose, they can look forward to a delightful conclusion with an alfresco tasting of the dishes at the grand marble table under the veranda, overlooking the magnificent gardens of the hotel. The Royal Mansour Cooking School is an opportunity to not only appreciate the culinary excellence of the resort but also to gain invaluable culinary skills and knowledge to recreate these exceptional dishes in the comfort of one’s own kitchen.
